Cuento Ambiental: Chata y Lucita

A group of students dramatize a story about protecting the environment. It charts the story of how Margarita buys a soda can, named Chata, and potato chips, named Lucita, and how she throws them outside the car. The trash contaminates the area, as they sit there decomposing for over hundreds of years. A dog comes and eats them thinking they are food, and he dies. While his body decomposes faster than Chata and Lucita, they remain there contaminating the environment, until one day a lovely girl comes and puts them in the trash can.

Of course, we know in Guatemala that this trash in the organized can usually gets thrown down the cliff or burned anyways. However, consciousness raising is what's happening here. At least it teaches the ´´Recoger y Depositar en Su Lugar´´/´´Collect and Deposit Trash in its Place´´ lesson.
